The Constitution, being the Basic Law, guarantees national independence and the path of development that our people have long dreamed of, and most importantly, human rights and freedoms.

On the 28th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, by the Tashkent Regional Council of the Social Democratic Party «Adolat» at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences was organized a conference on the topic “The Constitution is our free and prosperous life, a solid foundation for the further development of our country”.

It was attended by deputies of the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the chairman and deputies of the Political Council of the Social Democratic Party "Adolat", activists of regional and city councils, members of the "Youth Parliament", "Women's Wing", "Young Wing" and media representatives.

The main goal of the event is to popularize the Constitution as a guarantee of human rights and freedoms, a vivid example of the political and legal thinking of our people, a document that introduces the world to the state as a state, a nation as a nation, its role and significance in our life.

Opening the event, Chairman of the Political Council of the Social Democratic Party “Adolat” Bahrom Abdukhalimov noted, that our main task in defining the principle of social justice in society is the adoption of fair laws and ensuring the equality of all citizens before the law, regardless of gender, nationality, language and religion, then congratulated the participants of the event on the holiday.

Speaking at the event, the chairman of the Senate committee of the Oliy Majlis, Kutbiddin Burkhanov, stressed that the Constitution, which is an excellent example of the political and legal thinking of our people, serves as a guide to life for generations, a solid basis for solving current problems.

The Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” believes that social justice, the rule of law and equality before the law, constitutional rights and freedoms, the formation of a legal culture in society, especially among young people, as well as the country's future is in the hands of intellectually mature and talented youth.

The party is carrying out a number of purposeful tasks to identify and support talented youth in all spheres, as a result of which the number of young people in the ranks of the party and participation in its multilateral activities increases.

It is safe to say, that our Constitution is a legal guarantee of a free and independent, peaceful and prosperous life for everyone, independent of anyone else. A democratic state based on the rule of law and market relations serves as a solid foundation for building a strong civil society.

As noted, on the basis of the Constitution, our country has formed a national legislative system, government bodies and institutions of civil society. Today, large-scale reforms are being carried out in all areas. Our socio-economic, political and military potential and the outlook of our citizens are growing. All of this is primarily the result of the life force of our Basic Law.

If the law is just and if it protects human rights in practice, then people will respect and obey the law. Regardless of the directions of reforms and laws adopted in our country on the path of democratic development, they are all aimed at realizing human rights and freedoms enshrined in our Constitution.

At the end of the event, the speakers expressed their views on the agenda items.

At a solemn event on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a number of activists and party employees who took an active part in the social and political life of the Motherland, in the activities of the party, were awarded letters of thanks and a commemorative sign "25th anniversary of the party."
