Gender equality: equal rights and opportunities

An event dedicated to the essence of the main principles of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On guarantees of equal rights and opportunities for women and men" held in secondary school No. 6 was attended by employees of regional and Altynsay district councils of the party, activists of the district "Women's Wing" Council, specialists of the district Department of Justice, representatives of the district Central Hospital and a team of school teachers.
The event was opened by the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council Isroil Kurbanov, who explained the main purpose and essence of the event.
Speakers at the event spoke about the content of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On guarantees of equal rights and opportunities for women and men" regarding increased women's legal literacy, knowledge of the manifestations of gender violence, ie mental, physical and economic violence and capacity building, the need for women to have adequate knowledge of their rights.
