Measures to rehabilitate economically insolvent enterprises will be widely used

At the meeting, first of all, the draft law "On amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan" On water and water use "was considered.
It was noted that in the framework of comprehensive reforms implemented in the country in recent years, the powers of public authorities in the field of water relations, regulation of water use and protection have been improved. Today, there is a need to reflect these changes in the law.
In particular, the project strengthens the powers of public authorities in the field of water relations. At the same time, the Government is responsible for the development of water resources, rational water management, efficient use of water, mitigation of water shortages and other water programs, as well as approval of state support for the introduction of water-saving technologies.
