Robakhon Makhmudova, presidential candidate from Adolat Party, kicked-off her campaign from meeting with voters in Tashkent

Ms. Robakhon Makhmudova, who is running for president on behalf of Adolat Party, had her first meeting with voters. A meeting that took place at the Tashkent State Law University gathered deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, activists of the party, academic staff of the university, students, and the media representatives.

During the meeting Ms. Makhmudova presented the main directions of her pre-election program. She stressed the necessity for building democratic, social state and a just civil society. These all are highlighted in her program.

In addition, the candidate noted that her program recognizes that a person, his rights, freedoms, and legal interests are the highest values of the state and society. She also spoke about creating the necessary conditions for a prosperous life of every person in all aspects of society and state life, ensuring social justice and the rule of law. Ms. Makhmudova’s program aims to include Uzbekistan into the ranks of developed countries with a high standard of living as a strong social state dominated by the principles of freedom, justice, solidarity, social protection and responsibility, where sharp stratification of people is not allowed.

In addition, the program emphasizes the constitutional principle that the people are the only source of state power as a priority of state policy, further increasing the role and importance of democracy. This serves as a bright symbol of people’s power, ensuring the stable development of the country’s economy, innovative. Besides, human capital and intellectual potential has a special role in the program. Participants of the event found these points interesting.

Mr. Sabir Tursunov, the candidate representative in Tashkent city, Deputy of the Sheykhontohur District Kengash (Council), Ms. Dildora Islomova, director of the school 192, and Mr. Toshpulat Matibayev, Deputy of Tashkent city Kengash spoke during the event. They recognized the patriotic ideas and goals set in the program of Ms. Robakhon Makhmudova, and called on voting for the candidate in the upcoming important political and historical event.

Followed by constructive questions and answers, the event ended with participants expressing their interest in participating in the important political event that ensure the development of the country and the well-being of citizens.
