Abdulaziz Kamilov holds a phone call with Russia’s FM

On 9 July 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Cooperation issues were discussed during the conversation. The parties exchanged views on regional security, including the situation in Afghanistan.

The main attention was paid to the participation of the Russian side in the High-Level International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities” (Tashkent, July 15-16, 2021).
