NCHR and CALE sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

A virtual meeting has been held between the National Center for Human Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NCHR) and the Center for Asian Legal Exchange of Nagoya University of Japan (CALE).

The event was attended by the First Vice-Speaker of Uzbekistan Parliament, NCHR Director Akmal Saidov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Gayrat Fozilov, CALE Director Akira Fujimoto, Ambassador of Japan Yoshinori Fujiyama, employees of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the scientific community.

At the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between NCHR and CALE. NCHR Director Akmal Saidov delivered a lecture on “Uzbekistan’s new initiatives on human rights”.
