Turkish businesspeople arrive in Uzbekistan

Delegation of Turkey led by the Mayor of Hatay Province Lutfi Savaş visits Uzbekistan.

The delegation includes the heads of Turkish companies engaged in the deep processing of agricultural products, the textile industry, the automotive industry, metallurgy, the production of modern building materials and chemical fertilizers.

On July 6, meetings took place in the ministries of Investments and Foreign Trade, Agriculture, Tourism and Sports, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed the possibilities of joint implementation of investment projects in the automotive industry, furniture production, finished leather goods, tourism and agriculture, as well as the development of trade relations.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the chambers of commerce and industry of the city of Tashkent and Iskenderun region (Turkey).

On 7-9 July, members of the delegation will hold B2B meetings with entrepreneurs from Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand regions.

The parties are also working on the issue of establishing twinning relations between Tashkent region and Hatay province.
